The Korean School of Theology operates at its base campus and two remote campuses:

Base campus With the Office of the Dean and the Graduate Research School

(i) At the Nazarene Theological College, 40 Woodlands Drive, Thornlands, QLD 4164

(ii) At Yarra Theological Union, 98 Albion Road, Box Hill, VIC 3128

In all three locations, facilities include modern classrooms and student spaces with amenities, as well as libraries with collections and electronic databases making available the Korean-Language materials needed to support learning for the SCD Korean curriculum. The faculty are also accessible to students for consultation outside classroom hours.


 

The Library of Sydney Korean Theological College holds over 12,600 books and journals written in Korean  and is open to not only SCD KST students but also to all Christian leaders including ministers and pastors and other theology students.

 

How to use the SKTC Library

To borrow a book one needs to visit the Library homepage and perform a search for a particular book or a journal. Record the call number before going to the actual bookshelf. Find the book and take it to the librarian’s desk with your student ID card for a loan or use any of self serve kiosk for a loan.

 

Normal Books (Main Shelves)

  • Loan : 5 books per person. 2 weeks
  • Extension : 2 times, 2 weeks
  • Fine : In case of delay in returning $ 1 /day (except weekend days)

 

New or Recommended Books (New Arrivals Shelves)

The selection includes the books recommended by lecturers. There is a limit in loan period as these books are in high demand. Your kind understanding and cooperation is appreciated for the common good .

  • Loan : 5 books per person. 1 week
  • Extension : Must ask to the Librarian to check for any reservation
  • Fine : In case of delay in returning $ 1 /day (except weekend days)

Kyobo Scholar DB:

  • Kyobo Scholar provides academic database which is normally not available at the DBPIA. SCD KST library expanded its service to include Kyobo Scholar DB in 2017.
